The 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Hill 70

August 27th starting at 2pm, 10478 Clark Rd, Mountain, ON

In memory of the Battle of Hill 70, the Winchester Legion Branch No.108, the Mountain & District Lions Club and the Township of North Dundas would like to invite you to the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Hill 70 in Mountain, Ontario.

Our local Member of Parliament Guy Lauzon, our Member of Provincial Parliament Jim McDonell and the Township of North Dundas’ Mayor Eric Duncan will be addressing the audience.

There will be historical information, photos, artifacts, a pipe band, a planting of Vimy Oak saplings from the battle site and Veterans present to help educate Canadians on the importance of this battle. We strongly encourage you to attend and join us in the remembrance of the Battle of Hill 70 and celebrate this wonderful local monument.
