April is Cancer Awareness Month

This April, when you donate for Daffodil Month, you can proudly wear a daffodil pin as a sign of your commitment to the fight against cancer.

On March 26th in the Council Chambers, representatives from the Canadian Cancer Society held a pinning ceremony with Mayor Duncan, Deputy Mayor Boyce and Councillors Fraser and Thompson.

With nearly 1 in 2 Canadians expected to be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, you can join the fight to help us create change.

Volunteer in April for #DaffodilMonth. Give a little time. Make a big difference.
