Funding Opportunities and Incentives
The Municipal, Federal and Provincial governments, as well as the private sector, have in place several tools to support local businesses in the form of grants, loans, interest-free loans, mentoring or other types of support.
North Dundas Community Improvement Plan
Community Improvement Plans (CIP) help residents, investors and business owners improve and enhance through revitalization and redevelopment, specific areas and locations within a municipality. CIP’s are often given through Council direction and typically offer financial incentives for facade improvements, improved signage, interior improvements, interest forgiveness and conversion in Downtown’s. If funding is available, applications for the Township’s CIP will be accepted on a continuous basis and evaluated monthly.

SDG’s Regional Incentives Program For 2019 the program has been fully subscribed and is not accepting applications. The next intake will take place in 2020.
The Counties SDG Regional Tourism Programs
SDG Regional Tourism Grant is financial grant program designed to help existing businesses and organizations increase visitation to Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry tourism initiatives and attractions. 2019 application deadline is March 1st at 12:00pm.
SDG Tourism Information Signs are the recognizable blue signs on SDG County roads that make it easier for tourists to find local attractions and services.
