By-law & Enforcement
The By-law Enforcement Department is responsible for the enforcement of the By-laws of the Township of North Dundas. The staff in this Department deal with by-laws such as Property Standards, Yards, Swimming Pool Enclosures, Animal Control, Parking to name a few. By-law Enforcement Officers are responsible for upholding the by-laws which are put in place to serve and protect the residents of the Township of North Dundas.

Please note that NO PARKING is permitted on all streets in the Township of North Dundas between the hours of 11:00 pm and 7:00 am from November 1 to April 1.
ALL vehicles parked on the streets between the aforementioned hours may be ticketed or towed away at the owner’s expense. This by-law will be strictly enforced.

How to pay
If you do not wish to dispute your parking tickets, payments can be made, within 75 days of the parking infraction notice, in person at the Township or by mailing in the parking ticket with payment to the Township of North Dundas. Cheques and money orders are payable to the Township of North Dundas.
Failure to pay the fine imposed upon conviction will result in your Ontario Vehicle Permit not being renewed and no new permit being issued to you until the fine and all court costs and fees have been paid.
Dishonoured cheques will be subject to an administrative charge. An administrative fee is payable if the fine goes into default and the information may be provided to a credit bureau.
