Lactalis Investment to Reduce Truck Traffic in Downtown Winchester

In a Community Advisory issued October 29, 2020, Lactalis Canada announced plans to construct a new road from the north entrance of the plant to Liscumb Road.  Construction has begun and will continue until the end of December 2020.

Lactalis Canada is undertaking this major road improvement to address the safety issues and mitigate traffic and noise concerns through downtown Winchester and Gladstone Street resulting from truck traffic to and from their plant.

Once completed all trucks and delivery vehicles to and from the plant will use this new road to enter and exit the plant.
