Community Food Share – Matching Funds Campaign

North Dundas Matching Funds Campaign:

A week ago, the Township launched a campaign to help raise funds for the Community Food Share. We committed to match all donations raised up to a maximum of $7,000.  We are pleased to announce that over $13,000 has been donated by our Community in the first week.  With the Township’s donation of $7,000 over $20,000 has been raised for North Dundas.

The donation line is still open.

Simply visit www.communityfoodshare.ca/donate/ and choose the amount you wish to donate.  In the “Message for Community Food Share” box please type “North Dundas Matching Funds Campaign”.  This will tag your donation.  Although we have already surpassed the the Township limit for matching funds, tagging your donation will allow us monitor the success of this campaign.

Community Food Share:

Community Food Share is a valuable agency that offers a number of services to help families in need year-round.  Their primary service continues to be the Healthy Choices Food Bank, operating out of Winchester and Morrisburg, plus food cupboards located in Finch and Crysler.

If you, or anyone you know, needs assistance with food through these challenging times, Community Food Share can help.   Please note, an appointment is required to help them  maintain social distancing. Click  here for information on how to set up an appointment.
