Monday March 16, 2020 (Update Three)
Building Inspections â€“ Our building inspectors are continuing to conduct inspections but for the near future are limiting these to essential inspections only. Permit applications can be sent via email to firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com or they can be placed in the Townshipâ€™s drop box on the left side of the main entrance door of the Municipal Building located at 636 St. Lawrence Street. We have also increased the limit for permit payments taken over the phone. Click here to download permit applications.
Dogs tags â€“ Payments can be taken over the phone and the tags will be mailed to residents. The application is available here.
Burn Permits â€“ We are asking residents to scan or take pictures of their completed, signed permit application and email it to firstname.lastname@example.org. We will stamp your permit and email it back to you. Burn permit payments can be taken over the phone. Click here to download the permit application.
North Dundas Property Tax Update:
Monday March 16, 2020 (Update Two)
To reduce any financial hardships that may face our residents arising from the COVID-19 outbreak, the Council of the Township of North Dundas has changed the interim due date for property taxes normally due at the end of March, to April 30, 2020. Pre-authorized funds scheduled to be withdrawn on the due date will be withdrawn on April 30, 2020 and all interest charges will be waived for the month of April. Monthly pre-authorized payments will continue to be withdrawn on the 20th of each month.

To protect the health of our staff and the public, we wish to advise that the Township of North Dundas Municipal office has taken the added step of closing our office. Staff will be available by phone and by email. Additionally, all recreation facilities including arenas, community halls and SDG libraries are also closed.
Residents are encouraged to conduct business over the phone (613-774-2105) and online where possible. Payments for property taxes and water and sewer accounts can be made through pre-authorized payments, online, telephone banking, regular mail or via the Townshipâ€™s drop box on the left side of the main entrance door of this building.
The Township of North Dundas apologizes for any inconvenience and appreciates your understanding as Council and administration work closely with health officials, our neighbouring municipalities and the United Counties of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry to provide accurate and up-to-date messaging to our staff and residents.
