Sam Ault Arena
577 Main St. Phone: 613-774-2006 The Sam Ault Arena is the home of the Jr. B. Hawks, North Dundas Minor Hockey, and the Winchester Skating Club. The arena ice surface is the perfect location for large parties, community festivals, auctions, and other large events. It is available for rental from April to mid-August. The ice surface accommodates approximately 900 people with abundant parking on a paved lot. The bar and stage areas can be set up to your specifications.
Chesterville Arena
153 Chesterville Queen St. Phone: 613-448-3267 The Chesterville Arena is home to the North Dundas Rockets and North Dundas Minor Hockey. For large parties, community festivals, auctions, etc. the arena ice surface is available in the off-season (April to September). Approximately 900 people can be accommodated with a moveable bar and stage area. Spacious parking is available on a paved lot with easy access.
The Township of North Dundas has four ball diamonds that are fully lit and can be rented to the public. These diamonds are situated in Winchester, Chesterville and South Mountain. Minor ball programs are offered. In addition to the four diamonds, there is a t-ball diamond in Winchester. Various leagues, such as mixed three pitch and ladies three pitch, as well as pick up ball use these diamonds for recreational enjoyment.

Morewood Community Hall

ImageImageImageImageImageSituated in the hamlet of Morewood, the Morewood Community Hall is a very spacious hall with a capacity of approximately 250 people. This hall is on ground level and is handicapped accessible. It has a small stage area for entertainment, as well as a dance floor, kitchen and bar. The hall is air-conditioned and has abundant parking available on a paved lot.

ImageImageImageLocated in the heart of beautiful downtown Chesterville, this hall has a capacity of approximately 150 people and can be used for a variety of activities. There is a bar and kitchen area that can be used and licensed by the renter. The hall is fully air-conditioned.
Nelson LaPrade Centre

ImageImageImageThe Nelson LaPrade Centre is located in a beautiful park setting in Chesterville. This hall is suitable for many events with a capacity of 200 people. The Nelson LaPrade Centre is home to various seniors’ activities, as well as the Rotary Club and the Chesterville Lions Den. It features air conditioning and kitchen facilities, a paved parking and is fully handicapped accessible. The Nelson LaPrade Centre is a very attractive setting for hosting smaller events such as anniversaries, birthday parties and family get-togethers.
Joel Steele Community Hall

The hall capacity is approximately 300 and features a stage area for live or recorded entertainment, as well as a dance floor. The hall is air-conditioned and handicapped accessible. Kitchen facilities are available, as well as a bar that is fully licensed and can be operated by the Township or can be fully licensed and operated by the renter. Abundant parking is available on a paved lot.
Old Town Hall

ImageImageImageImageThe Old Town Hall in Winchester is home to the Dundas County Players theatre group. The Players have been providing plays, cabarets and dinner theatre since 1996. The North Dundas Movie Committee also operates ‘Moovie’ nights for the public in this space. Winchester Open Mic Cafe, is a genuine 60s style coffeehouse, which operates on Sundays from 2pm to 5pm, year round. With a capacity of 97 people in theatre seating, this centre is also great for meetings and presentations. The lobby space is excellent for heritage displays, art shows and special events. The centre is fully air-conditioned, handicapped accessible, and features a kitchenette that is fully licensed and can be operated by the Township or can be fully licensed and operated by the renter.
South Mountain Resource Room

ImageImageImageThe South Mountain Resource Room is located inside the South Mountain Library building with a capacity of 40 people. This space is great for classes, meetings, and small functions. The room is fully air-conditioned, handicapped accessible, and features washrooms and a small kitchen.
There are four outdoor rinks in North Dundas available for your winter enjoyment. They are located in Hallville, Inkerman, Morewood, and South Mountain. The Green Gang Pavilion is located in the Chesterville Community Park at 1 William Street in Chesterville. The Pavilion is a 16’ x 24’ covered area with a slab floor. It is ideal for family picnics in the park.The Township of North Dundas has two outdoor pools that are situated in the villages of Chesterville and Winchester. These pools are seasonal and operate from mid-June until the end of August. Both pools are supervised by certified personnel and offer swimming lessons, Aquafit/Aqua Zumba, and public swimming. The Mountain Memorial Park is home to a lit soccer field 100 yards x 85 yards in dimension. The park also includes washroom and change room facilities that can be opened for bookings with advanced notice. There is also a lighted soccer field in Chesterville, located at the fairgrounds.
