Congratulations to Wayne & Huguette Burns on celebrating 53 years in business as the owners of the Seaway Valley Pharmacy in Winchester. This year also marks the 53rd wedding anniversary for the North Dundas couple.
Mayor Tony Fraser and MPP Nolan Quinn presented commemorative scrolls to them recently to mark this momentous milestone for their business and our community. Wayne and Huguette Burns are amongst the most dedicated social workers and community supporters our Township has ever seen, which underscores the significance of this recognition.
They work tirelessly to help those most in need in the community and are shining beacons of hope and resilience for all. Local families, individuals and not-for-profit organizations can all attest to the care they have provided over the last five decades. As a former Village of Winchester Councillor and local business owner, Wayne Burns leads by example in hopes to inspire everyone he encounters to put our community first, just as he does each and every day.
