CTV News Correction - Winchester Pool Closure
A CTV News story was released on July 21st detailing the temporary closure of the Winchester Pool on Thursday, July 21st and Friday, July 22nd due to staffing shortages, however, the story was run again on July 22nd and it did not include the dates of the closure. To clarify, the Winchester Pool is only closed July 21st and July 22nd. The Chesterville Pool remains open and regular pool hours at both pools resume July 23rd.
Due to staffing shortages this pool season, the Winchester Centennial Pool will be closed Thursday, July 21 and Friday, July 22 for public swim and adult & lane swim. Participants in other programs (pool rentals, swimming lessons, and swim team) have been contacted separately regarding next steps.
The Chesterville Public Pool remains open if you wish to attend a public swim and/or adult & lane swim. Please view the pool schedule online. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused, and we look forward to seeing you soon!
