Lactalis Canada Winchester Forest
May 7th saw Lactalis employees and family and South Nation Conservation staff plant tree seedlings on the dedicated 12-acres that will see 10,000 trees planted on it in 2022. Species to be planted include red pine, white pine, black walnut and many others.

The project will serve to improve the local environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, create a habitat for biodiversity to flourish and create a green space between the plant and the town.
