Joint Compliance Audit Committee Members
The municipalities of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry are seeking interested applicants for appointment to a Joint Compliance Audit Committee for the 2022-2025 Council term. The Committee will serve all 6 municipalities in SDG.
The Joint Compliance Audit Committee addresses applications requesting an audit of a candidate or registered third-party advertiser’s election campaign finances for the 2022 municipal election. This authority includes, but is not limited to, the following:
The Joint Compliance Audit Committee will consist of members appointed by each Council. Committee members must have the ability to understand and apply the election campaign finance provisions of the Municipal Elections Act and should be considered impartial with respect to their ability to fulfill their responsibilities.
Members of the public interested in serving on this Committee are asked to submit an application form and cover letter marked “Confidential” no later than Monday, April 18, 2022 at 4:00 pm to the individual listed below. Your local township office will also accept applications. Applications are available upon request or can be found on the websites of all municipalities in SDG.
