The Platinum Jubilee Pollinator Garden is now officially open for all to enjoy.
June 13th saw the gathering of elected officials, students from the Nationview Public School and members of the public to commemorate the opening of the garden in honour of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee marking 70 years of service.
The pollinator garden features twelve native plant species that will provide food, shelter and pollen to a variety of pollinators, including butterflies and bees. A special thank you to all the students who cultivated many of the plants in the garden and for the project guidance from Hugh Metcalfe and Christine Enright.
Enjoy the garden for yourself at Mountain Memorial Park, 10480 Clark Road.
