If you’ve driven by the park in South Mountain lately, you may have noticed a few changes.
The Township of North Dundas is working hard to beautify public spaces. Over the past year, township staff and local contractors have been busy spiffing up the park.
Some of the improvements include: repaving the tennis courts, replacing the tennis court lights, light poles, nets & practice board, completing fence repairs, adding an accessible swing to the playground, replacing broken rink boards, building a new maintenance shed, installing basketball nets and backboards to convert the rink into a multi-purpose pad, and repaving the parking lot lines.
There is also a lovely new pavilion on site, boasting picnic tables and benches.
