We may be stuck at home, but that doesn’t mean you can’t get out to enjoy nature!
The second Capture North Dundas photo contest launches on Friday, January 14. The contest will run for two weeks, ending on January 28 at 10am.
What’s up for grabs? A $100 gift certificate to a North Dundas business of your choice and seeing your photo featured on the township’s website.
“We want to see our residents getting out there and exploring everything North Dundas has to offer,” says Mayor Tony Fraser. “This is such a beautiful community and although the pandemic is keeping us all at home right now, that shouldn’t stop us from getting outside and enjoying nature.”
The contest is open to anyone and everyone within the community, including kids. Each person can only submit one photo for the contest and all images must feature nature within North Dundas.
“Get creative and show us a side of North Dundas people may not have seen before,” notes Fraser. “There is so much hidden beauty in our community.”
Voting will be done by members of the community. All eligible photos submitted for the contest will be posted to the Township of North Dundas Facebook page on Monday, January 31. Voting commences when the post goes up and wraps on Wednesday, February 2 at 10am. Each member of the community can only cast one vote and if someone casts multiple votes, only the first one will be counted.

By submitting a photo for the contest, you acknowledge that the township has permission to use that image for future initiatives and that the photo is your intellectual property and does not violate any copyright laws.
