Cayer Road will be closed starting May 1st to 19th, 2023 in order to complete the rest of the reconstruction of the Cayer Road Bridge. During this three week road closure, the roadway surface as it approaches each side of the bridge will be built up to handle the significant traffic that uses this bridge every day. This is the final step in completing the reconstruction of the Cayer Bridge.
Cayer Road will remain open to Local Traffic Only, but the bridge will be closed to traffic in both directions for the duration of the three weeks. Refer to the green detour route in the map to help you plan alternate routes.
