TAKE NOTICE that the Clerk's Department will hold a Public Meeting on May 16th, 2023 at 6:30p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Township Municipal Office at 636 St. Lawrence St., Winchester, in order to consider proposed changes to the Retail Business Holiday Closure Bylaw.
The Township of North Dundas is hosting the Public Meeting in response to changes in the Retail Business Holidays Act, 1990 pursuant to Section 148 of the Municipal Act, 2001 and Section 4(6) of the Retail Business Holidays Act, 1990 to amend the holiday closure restrictions for businesses in North Dundas.
ANY PERSON may attend the public meeting and/or make written or verbal representation either in support of or in opposition to the proposed changes.
You can attend the meeting in person in Council Chambers at the Township office at 636 St. Lawrence St, Winchester without preregistration. You can also watch the meeting live on the Township’s YouTube channel.
A representative from the Township of North Dundas will be available to discuss the proposed changes and answer questions and receive comments.
