The Chesterville Legion Branch 434 takes the time to honour our currently serving veterans, and fallen members in the annual Remembrance Day ceremony.
If you are a serving member, veteran of the military, police or fire department or are a legion member and would like to participate in the parade, they ask that you arrive to the funeral home to form up by 10:30am in uniform. Everyone is welcome to attend the ceremony being held at the cenotaph at exactly 11:00am.
As always, everyone is also welcomed back to the Chesterville Legion for soup, sandwiches and comradery after the ceremony concludes.
Please be advised that in order to facilitate the Chesterville Remembrance Day ceremony, a portion of Queen Street (County Road 37) in Chesterville, from Francis Street to MacEwan Gas, will be closed to vehicular traffic from 10:45am to 11:20am on Monday, November 11th.
Traffic will be diverted to surrounding local roads by appropriate signage: Chesterville Main Street (CR7), Joseph Street, Francis Street, and Queen Street (CR37).
